Day By Day ( Itinerary)
Day 1: Arrival Day
Your safari begins as you meet with a Burungi Safaris Team member upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport. Transfer to your hotel in Arusha, where you’ll rest and prepare for the thrilling days ahead.
Day 2: Tarangire National Park
Early in the morning, depart for Tarangire National Park, a paradise for bird lovers and elephants. Capture these majestic creatures with your camera as you explore this unique ecosystem. The high concentration of birds in Tarangire will leave you in awe. Keep your eyes peeled for the diverse wildlife that decorate this park. Immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of the African bush. Enjoy a delicious lunch, resume your game drive, then head to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay in early evening.
Day 3: Tarangire to Ngorongoro Crater
After a delicious breakfast, deepen your connection with nature as you visit the Ngorongoro Crater. This park is home to the Big 5, the lion, leopard, black rhinoceros, African bush elephant, and African buffalo. If you’re lucky, you could witness Maasai herds, with the sound of cowbells echoes in the wilderness from a distance. Notice the absence of giraffes here, a result of the lack of acacia trees and the ongoing war against nature. Savor a delicious lunch before resuming your adventure in the heart of Ngorongoro Crater. Kiss goodbye to the Ngorongoro Crater in the afternoon, and in the evening, arrive at your lodge in Serengeti with your Burungi Safaris Guide by your side.
Day 4: Serengeti National Park to Karatu
Awaken under the canvas of the great Serengeti, where the world’s largest wildlife migration is about to unfold. With binoculars at the ready, witness the endless plains and wildlife encounters that surpass anything you’ve seen on the National Geographic Channel. Following lunch in the afternoon, begin your journey back to Karatu for the night.
Day 5: Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha
After breakfast, explore the small but beautiful Lake Manyara National Park, known for its alkaline waters and vibrant flamingo population. Keep an eye out for the park’s famous tree-climbing lions and other strange and fascinating wildlife. Your Burungi Safaris Guide has your back as you venture through this unique ecosystem, where animals dance between the bush. Depart for your hotel in Arusha in the evening.
Day 6: Departure Day
